Brian Bowers

Brian Bowers joined Bowers + Kubota in 1987 as a Construction Manager and has been the President of the firm since 1997. Brian graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Mechanics. He also received a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii and a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Studies at the U.S. Army War College.

Brian is a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) by the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and is a registered Professional Civil Engineer in Hawaii, Virginia, and Guam. In 2013 he was selected as the Engineer of the Year for the State of Hawaii by the Hawaii Society of Professional Engineers.

Brian is a Certified Value Engineer by the Society of American Value Engineers (SAVE) and has completed the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Construction Quality Control Management (CQCM) Course for Contractors. Additionally, he has been an active member in the following organizations:

·       Construction Management Association of America, Hawaii Chapter

·       American Council of Engineering Companies of Hawaii, Past President, President Elect, Past Secretary, Treasurer
